Dan Chang
Cello
Member Since 2017

Dan Chang grew up in Central Massachusetts and studied cello at Sonoma State and UC Santa Cruz. While in college, he played in the university orchestras, chamber music groups, and opera productions. In Fall 2017, he joined OCO and considers it his home away from home. Dan plays with multiple other orchestras in the Bay Area including the Berkeley Community Chorus & Orchestra and the Solano Symphony Orchestra. His teachers were Judiyaba and Sauenn Thorsteindottir at Sonoma State, Vanessa Ruotolo at UCSC, and Alexander Badalov in Massachusetts.

When Dan is not playing with OCO, his hobbies include biking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
