Oakland Civic Orchestra (OCO), a thriving community orchestra, maintains a roster of at least 65-75 musicians from all walks of life from throughout the Bay Area who come together for the joy and connection of playing music together. OCO performs high-quality, affordable, afternoon concerts to a loyal following in downtown Oakland and frequently engages students, emerging young artists, and established professional musicians as guest soloists. The orchestra also performs works of local composers and strives to represent increasingly diverse musical voices to our audiences. Concerts are presented in a child-friendly, comfortable environment and adult seating is wheelchair accessible.
