Diane began her musical studies on the piano at the age of five before eventually switching her main instrument to cello. She minored in music at UC Berkeley, where she played with the UC Berkeley Symphony and University Baroque Ensemble. She is an active chamber musician and has played with various groups across the Bay Area. She has been a member of the Oakland Civic Orchestra since 2004. When she’s not busy running across the Bay Area to and from rehearsals, Diane works as a health care consultant and enjoys spending time with her family.
