Nancy Geimer Percussion Member Since 2001 I started playing the drums when I was in grade school and I was fortunate that my parents sprung for private lessons back then. Marty asked me to play in OCO around 2001 and I was very happy to find such a friendly group that rehearsed in Oakland where I live. I’ve enjoyed seeing Marty shape OCO over the years into such a fine musical group! I play in several other groups including the California Repercussions, the South Bay Big Band, the Left Coast Sextet, and the Hayward Municipal Band as well as volunteering with two non-profits and a day job so it is great how OCO can fit into my busy schedule. OCO plays an interesting and challenging repertoire and I really enjoy getting to know the composers and music through rehearsals and performances.
